I've buildworld FreeBSD 6.2RC1 with SMP support. Strange enough the two processors are detect at kernel boot, but the second= processor is not activated :-/ I send the dmesg of the boot, on the kernel config file i've just added the= line "OPTIONS SMP", like i always do. I have several other servers running quite well with multi processors, from= PentiumD to Opterons. Can this be a bug of the RC1 ? Thanks in advance.
