The above bit of the script is the only place that mentions /usr/local/kde/lib - and $i isn't used afterwards before being set again. I have two -current machines, and it finds /usr/local/lib on both. Both machines are ELFified. How about a set -x at the top of configure on your machine followed by a ``fgrep kde/lib'' ? -- Brian , , Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
