I'm currently in the process of rewriting portlint. I'm sure some of you have ideas as to features you'd like to see. Please let me know what they are so I can add them to the feature request list (or send the code implementing them to me). I know there are a few of you that have modified versions of portlint to add additional features / functionality and I am interested in what those are as well. Also, for those interested I'm posting the work I've done so far at http://people.FreeBSD.org/~mharo/portlint3/ At the moment portlint3 has a few checks that didn't exist before and almost none of the functionality of the current version. I'm planning on finishing all the other checks before dealing with the Makefile as that is the most complicated part and I want a bit of time to figure out the best way to check it. Please note that this is *NOT* a release version and does *NOT* replace the current version of portlint in ports/devel/portlint at this time. You should still use ports/devel/portlint when checking ports. Michael To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
