We're looking for a Build/Release Engineer to join our company.  We're
located in Redwood Shores, California and are looking for someone that
lives (or wants to live) locally, for the right candidate we will
consider relocation.  A company overview and job description are below.

Company Overview:

Peakstream is a software start up in the HPC market, and we've just sent
out our first beta release.  We've been around for about a year and a
half but we're still in stealth mode, so if you go to our website,
www.peakstreaminc.com <http://www.peakstreaminc.com/>;  you won't see
much besides the positions we're looking to fill.  We've been jointly
funded by Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital and we're working on a
unique solution to the high performance computing market's issues
including increasing performance significantly through the use of GPUs.
We're ramping headcount right now for our first product release before
the end of the year.    =20



Build/Release Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Maintain an SVN/trac (well versed) based source repository=20

Create various automated builds for Linux and Windows platforms for
large software releases

Create install and upgrade packages=20

Write automated tests to sanity check builds, installs and upgrades=20

Create and maintain a customer-facing web page for software downloads

Experience Required:

A min of 5 years of experience in build/release and software
configuration management role (SCM) is required.

Expert knowledge of SCM tools, preferably CVS/Subversion (or alt of
Perforce, Clearcase)

Expertise with build tools such as make (other open source tools:
CruiseControl, Ant, Gump)

Experience with compiling and configuring open source software

5 years of Perl programming experience=20

Maintained a mature development tree with multiple concurrent branches
and releases=20

Strong knowledge of industry best practices, standards and trends

Helped to execute and enforce a robust development process by
implementing appropriate policies.

Create and install/upgrade scripts
