no, it's not a joke. It's genuine 2.2.6-R dmesg output. no, this machine doesn't run from a tape, it doesn't ever have it ;_) before I dig into sources, have anybody seen this before??? this machine was also unable to boot after installing 2.2.6-R on it (both fdisk mode and dedicated mode - as usual, booting from floppy and then saying sd(0,a)/kernel works).
