-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hello, since some weeks, my cable ISPs nets get flooded by some Code Red infected W2K beasts. Now I wouldn't care too much for this cause I run a FreeBSD 4.4 RC1 box with ipf/ipnat as gateway so I'm pretty much secured against code red even on my workstation (which hasn't got IIS up anyway ;-) but every now and then, about all 12h to 24h, the NAT box stops working and I really believe this is related to some bug (?) in dhclient cause if I do killall dhclient dhclient dc0 everything starts working like it should again (ssh connects over the NAT box don't even go down!). Could this be related to some ARP flooding that Code Red appears to be doing (tcpdump dc0 shows massive amounts of ARP queries and the receive LED of the cable modem is steadily flickering)?
