Hi, sorry to bother you with this trivial matter. There seem to be a typo in the example section of logsurfer.conf man page. it says: It has no "self-destroy matching rules (the next to "-") I'm pretty sure it should say; It has no "self-destroy matching rules (the next two "-") I'm providing output from "diff -c". *** logsurfer.conf.4 Sat Apr 7 12:26:43 2007 --- logsurfer.conf.4.new Sat Apr 7 12:27:31 2007 *************** *** 272,278 **** .LP This is a very simple testrule that matches everything ('.*') without exceptions (the first "-"). It has no "self-destroy matching rules (the ! next to "-") and no timeout (the "0"). For each message line it invokes the external command "/bin/echo" with the complete message line as an argument. The result will be, that every input line is echoed to the standard output. If you put the example line in a file called "testconf" --- 272,278 ---- .LP This is a very simple testrule that matches everything ('.*') without exceptions (the first "-").
