Thanks Luigi !!!! Wrote 27256 ROMs and they work 100% !!! I do not understand why the 27512 did not work. The handbook with the card is saying clearly: ROM type 27512. Both are CMS Elite: card and book ;-) I write the netboot nb3890.rom to the EPROM and all 6 workstations boot now nice. The systems need some tuning: /dev/ must be in /var /var must be on local disk. I think there must be some modifications to /etc/rc to prevent sigle user mode. Maybe the trap -commands and some other ?? Can you, Luigi, give me advice or send your /etc/rc? I want to mount /etc/ with passwds from NFS server, and workstations should be as secure as possible: no boots to single user!
