I will appriciate any help that can get me up running with this chipset without completely disabling ata/udma. >How-To-Repeat: get a sis645DX mobo install and reboot from your newly installed freebsd 5.1, then wait 15 seconds and see the system hangs up. >Fix: disable udma support, but I think it will be better if someone could fix it so the hardware support page is telling the true "story".
