Till now i am having separate root and swap partitions in each of my two disks, and all my other stuff lives in a vinum mirrored volume. This way i am fairly protected against crashes, but this setup is complicated and difficult to maintain. (If the disk that has the active root partition crashes i must reboot. If the other one chrashes the system continues whitout problem (SCSI disks)) Is there is any chance that vinum-related options in the loader.conf (vinum_load ="YES") can help me to boot from a vimum volume, or this is completely irrelevant? -Jim Xochellis To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
