Is there any particular reason that the mysql51-server automatically kills mysqld? I know that this has been default behavior on the port for many years, but I believe that it would be better off if the port would either:

1. Make @stopdaemon conditional (default to 'on' as to not break POLA),
2. Prompt the user asking them if they would like to kill MySQL (as mail/dovecot port does)

This would be a very helpful change to the port, as it's semi-stressful to have to sit around and babysit a portupgrade process just to make sure that mysqld is restarted.
