To: current@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Tue, 5 Jan 1999 01:08:33 -0800 (PST) Reply-To: frank@exit.com X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4ME+ PL43 (25)] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-current@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I've RTFM, I've UTSL, and from all I can tell, when I give the 'pnp 1 1 os...' command to userconfig during boot, later, during /etc/rc, dset should pick up that change and record it in /kernel. Well, it ain't happening. I assume I'm doing something wrong, but on the off chance it's busted, I thought I would post here. What gives? I'm trying to configure a soundcard. The userconfig line I give is: pnp 1 1 os enable port0 0x534 port2 0x220 port3 0xe0d irq0 10 drq0 1 drq1 6 That makes the soundcard work fine. Unfortunately, a reboot of the kernel forgets it every time. -- Frank Mayhar frank@exit.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
