 Err... - that "make world" part is the portion I'm trying to
avoid.

 I'll look for it in the makefile. I had cobbled together (by hand)
enough to get it to work before, basically by building the stand
portions that go into the kernel image, replacing missing pieces, etc...
Perhaps I can do that again.
