Hello,

Games that need a lot of resources / performance, are often provided with a
very poor performance when opening or after loading into the game.

When the bug occurs the performance is divided again in 2 to 3 levels=20

- Good performance but you still feel that something is not running well.
(30-40 FPS)
- Average performance. (25-30 FPS)
- Very poor performance. 0-5 or 10 FPS)

It helps if you start the game several times until you don't have the bug a=
nd
the game runs as smooth as it should and then you might also able to hear t=
he
GPU working like fans etc..

But this bug can also occur during a game session (depending on how the gam=
es
are designed) when other e.g. levels, worlds or similar are loaded. (Exampl=
e,
you start smooth into level 1 but level 2 is not smooth reloading level 2 c=
ould
help again).

Unfortunately I can't say exactly when this started, because the problem co=
uld
have been around for a very long time and could have been went unnoticed.

Tested on FreeBSD 13 REL and STA and 14 (main-n261233)

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 570 in the past and now using RX 6700 XT

CPU: Intel i5-10600K
