Thanks for all of those PRs (and changes) jbeich.

I agree I'd prefer to see this merged sooner rather than later - in general=
 as
long as new fail+skipped is on the order of a percent or so of the ports tr=
ee I
think we're better served by merging changes like this and then addressing =
the
fallout.

One other comment, do we have a good way to get these changes (or at least
reports) to the upstream project communities?
