Despite having similar hardware, you're only real best bet is to "suck it and see". Try installing and seeing what you can get to work (dmesg, pciconf -lv, usbconfig, kldload modules, questions here, etc). I've had mixed success with laptops (they're just about all I have as a desktop), and about my only problems have been with wifi- though that has mostly disappeared with Adrian's excellent work. I have recently had trouble with a dual video card (and ATI 4200 and a 6300 on the same machine), but that shouldn't be a problem. That has been fixed with using vesa, but that doesn't degrade performance or quality; biggest issue there is the residual image for security. But then I don't really give my video too much of workout, maybe it might affect you or not in any of the above cases. Just have a go and see how it goes I say... :) It's not too much time to find out. HTH
