Unless I'm mistaken, 3 button mice generally use the Mouse Systems protocol. I have a mouse almost like that (but with selector set to 3 button) and use: Protocol "MouseSystems" in /etc/XF86Config. (I'm using XFree3.2 but had it set up the same way in 3.1.x) I tried moused once and it worked, but haven't used it since. -- Jay On Wed, 9 Apr 1997, Pierre Van Leeuwen wrote: ->hi -> ->I am running 2.2.1R and I am trying to get my mouse working in X. ->I've done this in a couple of older releases as well as in Linux ->and its always been a trivial exercise, but now just cannot get ->it to work. -> ->I have I three-buttin Genius mouse (without a protocol selection ->switch) on cuaa0.
