I'm relatively new to FreeBSD and don't know the chain of command yet. Is there a better place for me to discuss problems? On to my issue: I can't get kdesupport2 to compile, and I don't understand the errors. Here's what I get: ===> Patching for kdesupport-20000829A ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for kdesupport-20000829A 4 out of 4 hunks failed--saving rejects to configure.rej *** Error code 4 Stop in /usr/ports/converters/kdesupport2. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/converters/kdesupport2. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/converters/kdesupport2. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/converters/kdesupport2. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/converters/kdesupport2. I have attached the error file. Could I bother you to help me understand the problem? Is there documentation somewhere that I should research in the future? I am trying to add KDE 2 to my FreeBSD-4.1-RELEASE system. I have already installed QT-2.2 from the ports collection. Thanks a lot for your time and help, Ben Hall bhall@scs.carleton.ca ---MOQ968590546b20aed4d5d7eedf31996cdad5a735009 Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="configure.rej" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: inline; filename="configure.rej" KioqKioqKioqKioqKioqCioqKiA0NTE2LDQ1MjIgKioqKgogIAogIAogIAotIExJQlFUPSItbHF0 IgogIGlmIHRlc3QgJGtkZV9xdHZlciA9IDI7IHRoZW4KICAKICAgIAotLS0gNDUxNiw0NTIyIC0t LS0KICAKICAKICAKKyBMSUJRVD0iLWxxdDIiCiAgaWYgdGVzdCAka2RlX3F0dmVyID0gMjsgdGhl bgogIAogICAgCioqKioqKioqKioqKioqKgoqKiogNDYwNiw0NjEyICoqKioKICB0ZXN0PU5PTkUK ICBxdF9saWJkaXI9Tk9ORQogIGZvciBkaXIgaW4gJHF0X2xpYmRpcnM7IGRvCi0gICB0cnk9Imxz IC0xICRkaXIvbGlicXQuKiIKICAgIGlmIHRlc3QgLW4gImAkdHJ5IDI+IC9kZXYvbnVsbGAiOyB0 aGVuIHF0X2xpYmRpcj0kZGlyOyBicmVhazsgZWxzZSBlY2hvICJ0cmllZCAkZGlyIiA+JjUgOyBm aQogIGRvbmUKICAKLS0tIDQ2MDYsNDYxMiAtLS0tCiAgdGVzdD1OT05FCiAgcXRfbGliZGlyPU5P TkUKICBmb3IgZGlyIGluICRxdF9saWJkaXJzOyBkbworICAgdHJ5PSJscyAtMSAkZGlyL2xpYnF0 Mi4qIgogICAgaWYgdGVzdCAtbiAiYCR0cnkgMj4gL2Rldi9udWxsYCI7IHRoZW4gcXRfbGliZGly PSRkaXI7IGJyZWFrOyBlbHNlIGVjaG8gInRyaWVkICRkaXIiID4mNSA7IGZpCiAgZG9uZQogIAoq KioqKioqKioqKioqKioKKioqIDQ3NTYsNDc2MiAqKioqCiAgCiAgQ1hYRkxBR1M9IiRDWFhGTEFH UyAtSSRxdF9pbmNsdWRlcyIKICBMREZMQUdTPSIkWF9MREZMQUdTIgotIExJQlM9Ii1scXQgLWxY ZXh0IC1sWDExICRMSUJTT0NLRVQiCiAgTERfTElCUkFSWV9QQVRIPQogIGV4cG9ydCBMRF9MSUJS QVJZX1BBVEgKICBMSUJSQVJZX1BBVEg9Ci0tLSA0NzU2LDQ3NjIgLS0tLQogIAogIENYWEZMQUdT PSIkQ1hYRkxBR1MgLUkkcXRfaW5jbHVkZXMiCiAgTERGTEFHUz0iJFhfTERGTEFHUyIKKyBMSUJT PSItbHF0MiAtbFhleHQgLWxYMTEgJExJQlNPQ0tFVCIKICBMRF9MSUJSQVJZX1BBVEg9CiAgZXhw b3J0IExEX0xJQlJBUllfUEFUSAogIExJQlJBUllfUEFUSD0KKioqKioqKioqKioqKioqCioqKiA0 OTY3LDQ5NzMgKioqKgogICAgIAogIAogIAotIExJQl9RVD0nLWxxdCAkKExJQlBORykgLWxYZXh0 ICQoTElCX1gxMSkgJChYX1BSRV9MSUJTKScKICAKICAKICAKLS0tIDQ5NjcsNDk3MyAtLS0tCiAg ICAgCiAgCiAgCisgTElCX1FUPSctbHF0MiAkKExJQlBORykgLWxYZXh0ICQoTElCX1gxMSkgJChY X1BSRV9MSUJTKScKICAKICAKICAK ---MOQ968590546b20aed4d5d7eedf31996cdad5a735009-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
