After 6.x is EOL'd. the oldest release still supported is 7.1 released on January 4, 2009 [1]. So delete all entries in UPDATING from 20081230 to 20040204 (first entry). And all entries from 2008 to 2002! in MOVED. UPDATING went from 9927 lines to 2445, and MOVED from 4695 to 1031 lines.
