Is it just me or are keyboard lifecycles shortening? I remember the tank IBM keyboards on the Mini terminals back in the 80's. I'm pretty sure the printing on the keys is still legible on any of those tank keyboards that are still around today. I was in typing class in Junior High. A classroom full of IBM Selectrics. I don't think schools even have such a thing as typing class anymore? Probably have like 'Socialling' and 'Influencing'. Of course Nuance owns the Dictaphone company, so a modern 'typist' is an AI code. I think people can just say like one sentence and AI turns it into a 2,000 word article. I've seen funky news articles lately. -- Waitman Gobble
