Hi, I'm in the mood to write a port which builds a SystemOnCD (yes, I know sysutils/cdroot and sysutils/livecd). Something like "cd /usr/ports/sysutils/SystemOnCD; make" to get an ISO image which contains a lot of useful stuff you can boot (based upon 5.x) from and use without the need to install it on a harddisk. My main target is to produce some kind of recovery/maintenance/repair CD, but it would be easy to enhance the framework to also allow for a demo CD, Office CD, Multimedia CD, whatever. Now the poll: Which port and why would you like to see on such a CD? Please also specify the main category of the port, e.g.: net/ethereal - to be able to diagnose network problems Please reply to me directly, not to the list.
