In-Reply-To: <199905300109.VAA00696@lakes.dignus.com> Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Just to follow up with some more information... With the 3.1-RELEASE PAO floppies, I get the following on the "debug" screen: Card inserted, slot 0 Code 240 not found Code 240 not found code Unknown ignored the boot-up notices this is a CIRRUS PD672X chip. And, I've tried configuring pcic0 with flag 0x1, and without it... also, I've tried it with the irq set to 0 (since I needed that in 2.2.x.) Under a 2.2.5-RELEASE boot - I get the following: May 29 21:50:25 puddles /kernel: crd: ctlr(0) Cirrus Logic PD672X (5 mem & 2 I/O windows) May 29 21:50:25 puddles /kernel: pcic: controller I/O address 0x3e0 May 29 21:50:25 puddles /kernel: pcic: controller irq 0 (shared) May 29 21:50:25 puddles /kernel: pcic: controller I/O address 0x3e0 May 29 21:50:25 puddles /kernel: pcic: controller irq 0 (shared) May 29 21:50:26 puddles /kernel: Card inserted, slot 0 May 29 21:50:23 puddles pccardd[39]: Card "EP-210 PCMCIA LAN CARD."("^?") matched "EP-210 PCMCIA LAN CARD\." So - it seems it should be working for the 3.1-RELEASE PAO... doesn't it? And - lastly, IRQ 5 is set to the laptop's sound-blaster IRQ.. I've tried doing the install both with and without ignoring that IRQ. Same results. - Any suggestions would be appreciated - - Dave Rivers - To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
