I personally had a 120-gig volume for a while ... Okay, let me toss a new question in... What's the largest IDE disk size that FreeBSD 2.2.7-RELEASE will support? I thought I read somewhere that it broke the 8GB barrier, but then recently I saw in the 2.2.8 announcement that 2.2.8 featured large IDE support.
