Look at the FreeBSD handbook, the section under "Advanced Topics" on Staying
Stable.  You can update your source using cvsup (the easiest way, in my
opinion), then make world.  Once you have rebuilt the system in this way
you will probably have to enter "disklabel -B" in order to update your
boot blocks.
