But I like it just as I liked my Thinkpad 600. http://www.streetprices.com/Computers/search.pl?query=2647hnu is where I check for good prices these days. Who has the best price changes by the day. http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/products.nsf/$wwwPartNumLookup/_2647HNU is where I check the configurations of the Thinkpads. [site is 99% accurate] Substitute the model number in the URL's above. If you want a 1400x1050 T23 you probably want a model starting with 26475, 26479, 2647D, 2647H [latter two are the same as former two with Office installed; first and 3rd are Win2K, 2nd and 4th are WinXP]. If you don't know model numbers the first site has items organized by categories. HTH. Greg -----Original Message----- >I don't currently have a laptop, but I need to get one soon.
