I had a Cybex SwitchView with a similar problem (out of sync errors when
switching between machines) that was also resolved with a flag setting to
psm0 (I use 0x80). I use a PS/2 Intellimouse. I don't use the wheel except
as a button, tho, so can't offer advice on that piece.
