I am trying to install version 3.0 on my 486DX4/100 box and am experiencing a couple of problems. Firstly, the uncompressing of the kernel (from a floppy boot of the install program) seems to take a very long time. Secondly, previous versions, boot probing and/or full-screen kernel configuration included device aic0 which was my Adaptec AHA-1520 SCSI controller. With version 3.0 it seems to be missing. Consequently I cannot access my SCSI hard drive or CD-ROM drive. -- Stephen M Brown stephen.m.brown@bigfoot.com Shimizu, Shizuoka, Japan Contact Info: http://www.chabashira.co.jp/~smbrown/contact.htm To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
