you haven't been paying attention..
it has now for a couple of weeks..

where does it crash?
is it by chance around the  area where it builds the floppies?
(could be that something doesn't like vn devices)

and please disable SLICE/DEVFS for a while
Either way teh problem comes to me but I'd rathe rknow which is the
problem :-)
