Don't bet on it. :-)  Back in the 2.0.5 days when I started with FreeBSD, I
used pkg_* for almost a year before I found out that the "text install GUI"
was available as an executable on an installed system.  (Tight budget so of
course I didn't buy Walnut Creek CDs, and CheapBytes wasn't around yet.)

Even with that, I've never deleted a package using sysinstall -- only added
from the CD.  It's easier and faster to root around in /var/db/pkg or grep
pkg_info -Ia output than to navigate the keyboard menus.
