When "duplex=full" and "echo=remote" , I could not see what I typed on 
the screen. I had to wait until I hit the return key. In this setting,
the "vi" worked fine, the nuisance was I could not comprehend what I
was writing!

And as far I know "NCSA 2308B" seems to be the latest version.

So! What else should I try next ?
