Just recently I switched from -stable to -current, since I understood that the sound driver had been completely rewritten. However, I'm still unable to squeeze any sound out of my SoundBlaster PCI. Is the bug still present under FreeBSD-current? (I find it odd that other... "OS's" don't tickle the same bug....) Here is what dmesg has to say: pcm0: irq 5 at device 13.0 on pci0 ac97: dac not ready Is the ac97: message an issue? I've added "device pcm0" to my kernel config and whirled it about.... Suggestions welcome. -- Sanford Owings EECS Instructional Group Staff University of California at Berkeley To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
