The master port is bfe0, with failover to wlan0. The wlan0 interface is ath0. I can get both wlan0 and bfe0 to work independently without being lagg devices, but only bfe0 works when wlan0 and bfe0 are in a lagg interface. In other words, when I pull the plug on bfe0, it does not failover to wlan0. The system is a 1 month old -current (i386) that has been pretty stable and I'm using something like this in /etc/rc.conf: wlans_ath0=wlan0 ifconfig_wlan0="ssid my_ssid \ wepkey 1:0xblah1 wepkey 2:0xblah2 \ wepkey 3:0xblah3 wepkey 4:0xblah4 \ weptxkey 1 authmode shared" ifconfig_bfe0="up" cloned_interfaces="lagg0" ifconfig_lagg0="laggproto failover laggport bfe0 laggport wlan0" ifconfig_lagg0_alias0="inet 10.0.0.7 netmask 0xffffff00" $ ifconfig -a ath0: flags=8802 metric 0 mtu 2290 ether 00:11:f5:9d:54:f5 media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect mode 11g status: associated bfe0: flags=8843 metric 0 mtu 1500 options=8 ether 00:14:22:ae:bc:98 media: Ethernet autoselect (100baseTX ) status: active lagg: laggdev lagg0 lo0: flags=8049 metric 0 mtu 16384 inet6 fe80::1%lo0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4 inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 lagg0: flags=8843 metric 0 mtu 1500 ether 00:14:22:ae:bc:98 inet 10.0.0.7 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.0.255 media: Ethernet autoselect status: active laggproto failover laggport: wlan0 flags=0<> laggport: bfe0 flags=5 wlan0: flags=8843 metric 0 mtu 1500 ether 00:14:22:ae:bc:98 media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect (autoselect) status: no carrier ssid linksys_SES_45226 channel 6 (2437 Mhz 11g) regdomain 105 indoor ecm authmode SHARED privacy MIXED deftxkey 1 wepkey 1:104-bit wepkey 2:104-bit wepkey 3:104-bit txpower 17.5 bmiss 7 scanvalid 60 bgscan bgscanintvl 300 bgscanidle 250 roam:rssi 7 roam:rate 5 protmode CTS wme burst lagg: laggdev lagg0 Note that wlan0 is not associated as it would normally be when not configured as a lagg device.
