I am trying to use the Acrobat Reader plug-in from Netscape 4.08
for Linux. I installed the two ports, and both Acrobat Reader
and Netscape run fine. I went to /usr/local/Acrobat3/Browsers and
edited the "netscape" script, which appears to start Netscape properly:

$ sh -x netscape
+ uname -s
+ osname=FreeBSD
+ uname -r
+ osrelease=3.0-STABLE
+ args=
+ echo x\c
+ [ x\c = x ]
+ echonl=echon
+ ndefault=/usr/local/Netscape3
+ adefault=/usr/local/Acrobat3
+ ndefault=/usr/local/lib/netscape
+ adir=/usr/local/Acrobat3
+ ndir=/usr/local/lib/netscape
+ [ -z /usr/local/Acrobat3 ]
+ [ ! -d /usr/local/Acrobat3 ]
+ [ -z /usr/local/lib/netscape ]
+ pconfig=intellinux
+ XKEYSYMDB=/usr/local/lib/netscape/XKeysymDB
+ export XKEYSYMDB
+ NPX_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/local/Acrobat3/Browsers/intellinux
+ export NPX_PLUGIN_PATH
+ PATH=/usr/local/Acrobat3/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games
+ export PATH
+ XENVIRONMENT=/usr/local/lib/netscape/Netscape.ad
+ export XENVIRONMENT
+ [ -d /usr/local/lib/netscape ]
+ [ -x /usr/local/lib/netscape/netscape ]
+ exec /usr/local/lib/netscape/netscape

... and netscape starts, but it says that it has not any plug-ins
attached.

What am I doing wrong?

TIA,
