Personally, to keep things simple I like to install FreeBSD on a simple UFS partition. Once the system is up and running I can then mirror/raid the data drives any way I choose. There is a wiki page about setting up FreeBSD on a mirrored ZFS boot drive though; https://wiki.freebsd.org/RootOnZFS/GPTZFSBoot/9.0-RELEASE Roland --=20 R.F.Smith http://rsmith.home.xs4all.nl/ [plain text _non-HTML_ PGP/GnuPG encrypted/signed email much appreciated] pgp: 5753 3324 1661 B0FE 8D93 FCED 40F6 D5DC A38A 33E0 (keyID: A38A33E0) --Md/poaVZ8hnGTzuv Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIbBAEBAgAGBQJT3CKrAAoJEED21dyjijPgWjoP+JOYO6REF5XJRylwbSWWWV+f 91rvvsJ4YYqgjjS6YVewZBSIiLFiwj2GVtkuNgHlr/UfcJyLW0tFiMsXRbPPU6nT 217KAFGLhDczQcTfmt0MJ8K3SW1xkSVHDIOIFyho/Q4hdwBe6BE23kS5vcS8ESMW rQ26DaBC5lgg2e5lRrepDnHsANHPNbaapVdig3UMNIWwb3mmHTCWELP5E4b4QMZW +iEg2O3jSmZSZ6LbkLvKCR0PHPLqabortwUuv6iqyp0MoPUaDD5pX18qkSD5FVFv 1++Hejt3E+/eA0XTBV3nk9mNCQm5t5avHM70gLgViokLSnTmfT8JRGRT96awDvie rkgrSs5jXF5nDzSzKUWdJeTp8a3VpQzoSh0UNv098Xb4OQOSKW+2rizcFdzfuzG7 qglD3Yywqk1XFSK1U996XVXPOWXn9nbsVATQwPIQwIrVFtLZYQXQ1c/hZbxOJTg+ w8o3Zl1ot0/xab6WARZoUS0qa9Rv3Fb6k8pRyfNMXAWkSFHvlhD/LFjfLnmkxxTA x2Xu+t4iNZt0UEmD8M9DB4/Fnyc6qBOfdeBcXkF0e7sc4SI24NhExADjEzR/ZAkr UTUv6I878ZsYpkn8jfROi/kwAHSas5X3Ac3PSO5z7maMngyqVHUDd3efbb7xGqIq 0t1CxHURtyBeArgPWHg= =7A47 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Md/poaVZ8hnGTzuv--
