Well, I haven't had any trouble with Barracudas yet, though I sold
them on my client's express wish after having vowed never to use
Seagate again.  I'm using a 4207S myself.  It's in a cabinet, so I
can't say how warm it's getting, but it *does* make a hell of a noise
when it's working.  Not a machine for your bedroom.
