I did the following procedure: 1) install new Dell PE2950 with amd64/6.1-RELEASE from CD (minimal) 2) cvsup /usr/src to RELENG_6 this afternoon 3) make clean buildworld buildkernel (forgot to build it for SMP) 4) make buildkernel KERNCONF=PE2950 (which is just SMP plus ident a.t.m) 5) make installkernel KERNCONF=PE2950 6) reboot 7) make installworld --> fails. Did I miss something here? How to fix? Is this amd64 specific? Regards Raphael Becker PS: if this is an amd64 specific issue it might be forwarded to the amd64 mailing list.
