Synopsis: Freebsd 4.7 installation fails with Adaptec 2120s State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: scottl State-Changed-When: Thu Jan 23 13:18:00 PST 2003 State-Changed-Why: The 2200 and 2120 cards have a bug that prevents them from fetching commands over DMA that reside in the first 8k of physical memory. I've fixed this by reserving that first 8k (actually, the very first 4k is used by the OS) so that commands and data cannot be allocated in there. This was fixed in HEAD on Jan 22, and in RELENG_4 on Jan 23. -sl http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=46929 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
