I don't think this is a FreeBSD issue.  I'm trying the same thing with a
Cisco router, and receiving the same errors.  I am dialing into RedHat
Linux 5.1's pppd.  I'd like to know any solutions that people have.  I
have been trying to reproduce this, and have been unsuccessful.
