what's not supposed to work on a Slot A? I have a few thunderbird 650 Slot A's, or atleast that's what was on the recipt. I'm still waiting for amd's site to go back up so I can take a look. CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor (656.47-MHz 686-class CPU) Origin = "AuthenticAMD" Id = 0x642 Stepping = 2 I'm not sure, but I think stepping 2 is thunderbird, I'm sure someone with more knowledge could verify that though.
