Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I'm using popper v.2.1.4-R3 on a FreeBSD v2.1.0-R system (I know, I need to upgrade ;). Recently I've noticed that checking eMail through pop3 is taking for ever. Especially for those of us who keep two or three days on the server at any one time since we are checking it from multiple systems. I noticed today that when I check mail (which now takes over 45 seconds to connect, realize that there is no mail and disconnect.) I also noticed that popper is taking up 32% of the CPU time! What can I do to speed things up? Thanks! -Sean To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe questions" in the body of the message
