8.0-RELEASE & what was then current were both broken when I tested,
but latest current now OK here too.  Thanks Jeremy.

It was unfortunate "make package" broke in 8.0-RELEASE.  Presumably
not detected by cluster build scripts not catching exit != 0 as
concentrating on building maximum packages regardless of failures.
I'll hope over holidays to read
