Of course, you can somehow get > pieces on new ports, unrelated to X. I've had patches available for probably a couple of months now posted to freebsd-x11@. For the few people who tested it, I had no real issues reported. We were stalled for a long time, While X kept moving, so the amount of change was large. This update also brings in support for a lot of people who are running newer hardware. I realize that there are some issues with the mouse driver... I'm trying to look at and resolve, but I don't really know input drivers, so I doing a lot of guess work. On top of that I do have a day job, so time is limited. At this point, I seem to be pretty much responsible for at least intel agp, if not most all of agp, drm, and sharing a lot of the workload for the Mesa ports and Xorg. So, if anyone knows about input devices, feel free to jump in and help me out. robert. > * The choice is totally yours. >=20 > -- Alex -- alex-goncharov@comcast.net -- >=20 >=20 > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-stable@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-stable-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" --=-Tb2OA3/s2Jwq2e1dYLTG Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.10 (FreeBSD) iEYEABECAAYFAkmBsbsACgkQM4TrQ4qfROMiqgCeNH/07E5CRUmGmzuymrgPJZIu NHoAnA29VN3InHP0xBlfMCF+r6XIW2qR =vNzV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-Tb2OA3/s2Jwq2e1dYLTG--
