Our's happen to be fiber channel which use the same driver. AFAIK this is one of only two or three supported fiber channel cards in FreeBSD. One problem, the fiber channel card / driver is unable to boot FreeBSD from the RAID. This issue was being worked but I have'nt heard an update.
