However, from looking at http://people.freebsd.org/~fenner/portsurvey/www.html#linux-netscape6 I get no clue about what I broke. Could you please explain in detail? Otherwise, it's likely that I (or someone else) will cause a similar problem in the future. Whatever the trouble was, I have a feeling that your change might not eliminate it. You added a test for the existence of components.conf, which you do after the (interactive) configure script runs. The configure script generates components.conf, so if components.conf does not exist after the script is complete, it normally should mean that the user cancelled out of the dialog. It may be a few days before I have time to work on this. If the port is still causing massive disruption, perhaps you could just remove it from your survey's copy of the ports collection. I also don't mind adding BROKEN and/or FORBIDDEN lines to it. Have you published the scripts for your survey? If I could get my hands on them, maybe I could (would) try a limited test run on my own computer, to avoid causing another disaster. Please let me know. -- Trevor Johnson To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
