I don't know if there's an errata list (although IMO the various "heads-up" messages which get posted here should be archived on the web or somewhere for just this reason). Searching the -current archives for "Heads up" should give you all the critical changes in the absence of that. Look at /usr/ports/sysutils/mergemaster for a very handy tool for updating your /etc directory. If you're updating across more than a few weeks time difference, chances are there will be changes that should be merged, which 'make world' does not do.
