Actually, maybe merging the BSD flavors may be impossible, but merging back FREE DBDs may not. And, per what Mr. Andersen is doing, Free software will probably be the future in the medium/long run. And I would like to remark that Apple AND Sun are looking for Free SW to kepp on selling their HW. Doens that ring a bell ? I guess this is an URGENT issue; An unique opportunity kicking in our door.
