For those that don't know, this is how I did it: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=3D46921#post46921 I installed 8rc1 on a USB 1.1 HD. Right now I'm compiling firefox, =20 it's taking more than 10 hours ! My next step will be to figure out =20 how ACPI works. > Myself I tried to get into the same stage as you're in.
