So is running a commercial Linux binary on FreeBSD (but boy does it kill the
same app on Linux under -current; muchos gracias to John and the gang!)

Nevertheless, it would make life for, say, WordPerfect users easier;
AFAIR the license manager is _the_ hairball when it comes to running
WP.  I'm not looking forward to when RSI go to FlexLM-for-Linux at the
end of the year - I can see some _very_ heated email between us and
their support droids until we get it sorted.
