They differ in - FBSD release: 4 & 5. - i386 and amd64 As far as I know is there only one work directory, and building for another architecture os OS-version, you need to clean and build. Not too bad, but when it comes to dependancies it does not always work as it should.... Any chance in optionaly extending the work directory into something like: work-${arch}[-${os}[-${hostname}]] And yes, I do expect the answer to be: just give us the patches.... But I'm not anywhere fluent in port-makefiles, let alone the direction the ports team is going. --WjW
