Hi,

I'd like to use the central store for ports for several systems.
They differ in
 - FBSD release: 4 & 5.
 - i386 and amd64

As far as I know is there only one work directory, and building
for another architecture os OS-version, you need to clean and
build.
Not too bad, but when it comes to dependancies it does not always
work as it should....

Any chance in optionaly extending the work directory into something
like:
    work-${arch}[-${os}[-${hostname}]]

And yes, I do expect the answer to be:
    just give us the patches....
But I'm not anywhere fluent in port-makefiles, let alone the direction
the ports team is going.
